Yanqi Zhang, MAPhD student
Yanqi is a PhD candidate in Human Nutrition. She earned her master’s degree in Health Studies from UA in 2019, and her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition at the University of Missouri in May of 2017. Her research interests focus on using nanoencapsulation technology to improve the stability and bioavailability of dietary bioactive compounds, as well as the pharmacokinetics of nutrients and dietary bioactive compounds in human body. |
Nolan McKibbenUndergraduate research assistant
Nolan is from Bucyrus, Ohio. He is majoring in chemistry with a minor in the Randall Research Scholars Program and Interdisciplinary Studies in Medicine. After getting his undergraduate degree and an MBA, Nolan plans to continue his education in medical school. |
Amy CarrUndergraduate research assistant
Amy is a freshman from Wakefield, Rhode Island. She is planning to study Food and Nutrition with a concentration in Nutrition Sciences and a minor in Mathematics. She is also a part of the STEM Path to the MBA program. She plans to pursuit a career in food science after completing her undergraduate studies. |
